"Jakarta Baru, Gusur Aku" (2018) is an experimental interactive theater capturing the struggles of Jakarta's marginalized communities—transgenders, street musicians, and debt collectors—amid relentless urbanization. Through dynamic body movements, live soundscapes of urban noise, and symbolic props like cardboard and wooden scraps, the performance immerses audiences in the fragility and resilience of life in the city's shadows, exposing poverty as the hidden face of progress while voicing hope and resistance against displacement.
